COMMANDS: 2-2 BSET OPTIONS – SET COMMANDS

BSET OPTIONS. Now when you do your BSET you will obviously fill out all your information through here. But you also have options of changing different items in the process.

Drawing options we can change the aperture size, the pick box size, the roof colour line, which we will get into in a later video on when we are doing roofs. Also, your support colour line, your roof line type, whether it’s going to be hidden or solid or whatever type of line type you want to pick.

Hide change prompts, disable stud locking’s, there's a whole heap of things you can change in here.

Layout dimensioning options;

• Whether you want them on centre line
• Whether you want them staggered
• What you want to show on centre line
• What you want to show the full width

If you want to show width of panels you lock that to true, and it will unselect all these. But if you want to show the panel centres, when you go false it will allow you to choose different options.

Also, your minimum length, your 3D options, a lot of the stuff in here I’ve preset to suit my detailing style.

Sometimes I have to come into here to change it for a specific client style:

• 3D options
• Colours
• Layers
• Layer names

These are some of the temporary files that are preset, your reference options, your grid line options when you are putting in grid lines:

• It will set to layer grid line
• Grid text
• What type of line you want to use
• What colour you want to use
• Your export options
• Your folder settings

In your folder settings, you can change to where you want different files to point to. I've got a couple in here that I've changed the point of certain folders that I want to choose from, your design options.

A lot of these are preset, you don't have to change them. But if you want to do it to a style that you want or to a specific style that your company wants to, then you come into your BSET OPTIONS, and you've got a few options here to change to suit your style.
