COMMANDS: 001 C3D MISCELLANEOUS

C3D or Copy3D. Now this command here copies anything from your layouts into your 3D model. And it'll put it in the reference area that's to start with, which is this one here.

Let's say I had a more complex slab, or I wanted to show my slab around here with my step down. Say my 70 mm step down in this area here, the Alfresco.

It has to be a polyline so you can extrude it to the thickness of what you want to work to from your slab.

Okay, so I'll draw a polyline around my set coming through here. I want to come up to this point there, back there and close off, and I'll do another one through here. Close off and then I'll want to do a C3D.

I'll copy this one and this one, enter. So, these lines are now copied into my 3D model. And let's say my slab here is 200 mm and we know that this step down is 70 mm. So, I would extrude this down minus say 200mm. Okay, and this one here minus 130mm.

Then I need to move this one down to here. So now we have a 70 mm step down between the main slab and here. When I bring my 3D model back, it will show where my slab is.

My slab edge that is going around here. Just handy for a visual thing to put in your post down at the correct height. Your step downs, you can have it for your wet areas or your garage.

It just means that you've got more drawing or more polylines to do. It gives you a nice visual aspect of what you're actually doing in a step-down area.
