Detail Frame Builder or as I use it PPD. Will put the frame into a detailer where you can also change or modify a few items on here. By double clicking this area up here we'll bring up the properties.
Some items you can't change, items that are sort of grayed out slightly and some items you can change. Like the red line text, as shown there, you can change it to whatever you need, whatever your specifics.
New frame, these you cannot change. You're loading information you cannot change. You'll stud data you cannot change apart from a couple of items down here.
The construction information you can change. Except for this one here.
You can change your notching, add notching in, make it a square notching, make a big notching to go over an item or something. If you put a notch on this end, like so, you can square it off or you can also make it an angular notch.

Which will just throw a member diagonally across there, it all depends on what you want to cover. From here, once you're happy with any of the edits that you've done in here, you can send it to CAD, which will put it into its own tab. So, when you do your A3D, it will show your frame here with the notch on one end and the raking notch on the other.
You can either use DET, which brings up the same detail panel. I'm quite used to using PPD, which does the same thing.
That is DET.
