COMMANDS: 001 DG - DIMENSIONS

DG – Dimension Guidelines

00:00

So, what this does, is this will take the extremity of your floor plan, your house, and it'll put guidelines like I've done here. And to use that command I will just remove what I have here.

When I type in DG, that will put you in guidelines. for dimensioning.

It just keeps it nice and tidy. Again, it will only do it around wall frames or it'll do it around trusses. I've got one out here, so I'll just move that out of the way because it'll look at that as well.

DG. It throws in your guidelines around the extremity. Now these will be out of line for my wall frames as you can see there. Because it's taking the extremity. From down there to down there and you see how that's out of line.

Because it takes the extremity of your house and it'll put your guidelines out to suit, same with here. It'll take the extremity, which is the outside edge of the truss and it'll put dimensioning guidelines in.

And that will be on a non-printable layer. You won’t see all these lines when you print out your PDFs.

That's the command DG.
