SUM – Command Summary

The command SUM. The command summary does a summary of everything that's within your layout. If we do this command here, it pretty much gives you an overview for the fabricator or the frame supplier to quickly go through and see what is entailed within the entire job.

So right now, it's just calculating every border that I have in this job here. Now what it shows here is it'll give you your summary per view. In view 2 it shows that I have support beams and columns, the quantity, and the lengths. And that goes through every view that has items in it to fabricate. 

• View 3 has walls, load bearing walls, non-load bearing walls, support, and columns.
• Summary 4 has again load bearing walls, non-load bearing walls. 
• Summary 5 or view 5 has the floor joists.
• View 6 has the trusses.
• View 7 again has more walls.
• View 8 has more trusses.

That gives you the quantities coming down through here and their lengths. Again, if you go to the manufacturing summary this is what the manufacturer will be making and their lengths.

This is what is required for all the materials that are within the job and the L plate summary or the lintels.

We can either print all the sheets, all three of these or we can print current, or we can export it to CSV.

When we go to print all, it will have the print dialog box pop up. Click OK, to whichever printer that you're printing to, and this will give you all your site summary for the entire job.
